The Second Floor of An Chultúrlann is home to a selection of resident Irish Language organisations, all of which bringing their own talents and expertise to the Gaeltacht Quarter and the Cultúrlann experience.  Each of these organisations contribute to An Chultúrlann’s reputation as a hotbed for ideas and community.

The media hub features Raidió Fáilte, Belfast’s Irish Language community radio station.  Broadcasting 24 hours a day on 107.1FM and on their website raidiofailte.com, Raidió Fáilte is one of An Chultúrlann’s great success stories with professional programming reaching worldwide audiences through Irish.

Tobar Productions, the television production company behind Deis Roc and Cósta Uí Chatháin, draw on the creative atmosphere of An Chultúrlann to produce some of the finest series, films and documentaries for TG4 and other stations.

Also on the second floor is POBAL, the umbrella organisation for the Irish speaking community. Formed in 1998, POBAL has gained national and international recognition for its advocacy work in Irish language legislation, rights and best practices and for its strategic support for the Irish speaking community. POBAL provides strategic direction and a democratic forum for a wide variety of Irish language organisations.

Aisling Ghéar is Irelands’ only professional theatre company working full-time to deliver great shows in the Irish language and is the resident theatre company in Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich. The company produces two or three productions per year, premiered on the Cultúrlann stage and has toured its productions throughout Ireland.

TACA is a registered charity which raises funds to promote the Irish Language. TACA - which means "Support" in Irish was established in Belfast 15 years ago to support the emerging Irish medium schools. In that time it has raised in excess of £800,000 which was given to struggling Irish projects throughout the North.
