Club Rith (8:30 PM)
Rith 2010 - a new national relay race for the Irish language - kicks off in Belfast in March and An Chultúrlann will be the centre of all the action as the first host of 'Club Rith'. Music, craic and treadmills take the stage for the night so even those who missed out on the run itself can put on their runners for the Irish language! Loch Lao Choir - Weekly Practice (7:00 PM - 9:00 PM)
Cór Loch Lao (Cultúrlann Choir) practice each Tuesday night under the direction of Doimnic Mac Giolla Bhríde. Cór Loch Lao won two awards this year at The Pan-Celtic Festival and headlined a concert during the Errigal Arts Festival. This prizewinning choir is constantly gaining strength and always welcomes new members!

Still, the Blackbird Sings By Dave Duggan (8:00 PM)
"Why would an Irishman join the British Army? Can there be poetry in the midst of war?" Still, the Blackbird Sings - Incidents At Ebrington Barracks by Dave Duggan re-invents dramatic events in the life of the poet-soldier Francis Ledwidge. Often referred to as the "poet of the blackbirds", Ledwidge was an Irish Nationalist who joined the British Army and was killed in action on the opening day of the Third Battle of Ypres during World War 1. In this dramatisation, Ledwidge faces questions relevant to the soldiers of this day. Tickets: £8/£5 School Matinee 12 March, 11:00am. School rates.

Téada Featuring performances from Emma Ní Shúilleabháin and Crúb agus Béal (8:00 PM)
Téada, now firmly established as one of Irish music's leading exponents on the international world music stage, continues to be driven by a fascination with the timeless, expressive force of traditional tunes inherited from previous generations of musicians. Since their rise to fame in 2001, Téada have been frequent headline performers at major music festivals throughout the US, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia. A new book of songs for children with music by Doimnic Mac Giolla Bhríde, words by Nellie and Eoghan Mac Giolla Bhríde and drawings by Dara McGee. This is a book and CD of newly composed songs in Ulster Irish, suitable for children of all ages sung by children from the Donegal Gaeltacht. Free event. Children of all ages welcome.
