Bookshop
|
Belfast’s Irish language bookshop, An Ceathrú Póilí, first opened in 1983 and after a rather nomadic existence, found a permanent home when Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich was founded, in 1991. The shop grew in tandem with the Irish speaking community in Belfast and the six counties and is one of the few surviving independent bookshops in this age of the shop chain. Today, the shop stocks the most extensive, comprehensive range of Irish language books and resources in the North, as well as a selection of titles in English on various aspects of Irish life. We also sell an eclectic mix of gift, crafts and jewellery (most of which is locally sourced) as well as the best of Irish traditional music, t-shirts and Irish/bilingual cards for all occasions. Opening Hours Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm Saturday 9:30am – 5:30pm Sunday 1:00pm – 4:00pm Postal delivery service available. Tel: 028 9032 2811 Email:
